Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Shunkei Takahashi. I am a Japanese-style
artist.

In this borderless world, the beauty of nature is that it has severity
and also it creates all living things. I think, the cyclical nature of
the natural world, such as the endless growth and re-growth of trees in
mystic forests or lake reflects the cyclical nature of the human spirit.
My paintings have been inspired by the emotions l feel when I contemplate
the natural world.
And also The Peaceful-time series's paintings have been inspired by the
view point which everything in the world is beginning from relationship
of man and woman. It is a peaceful-time of man and woman.
Since 1997, I had many exhibitions in foreign countries because I want
to share my paintings with many people. |
